Supervisor on Site
A supervisor is on site during the production of raw meat blends, in order to ensure that all standards are met in terms of safety, health, and hygiene.
Freezing / Conservation
Karbur meat blends are frozen thanks to a flash-freezing technique, which provides a natural protection and helps preserve all nutritional values inside the meat patties. Karbur products come in 10-lb. bags and can be stored in the freezer for a few months.
Recipe Consistency
Karbur ensures the quality and freshness of each meat blend ingredient and manufacturing consistency. Furthermore, our products are labelled and display the complete and accurate list of ingredients, for transparency purposes.
Traceability Plan
Karbur meat packs come with a batch number and are part of a traceability plan for ingredients from accredited manufacturers. Whether during the manufacturing or distributing phase, our quality assurance processes are rigorous and contribute to simplifying logistics and providing an optimal customer experience.
Handling / Sanitation
Karbur meat blends are manufactured in our MAPAQ-certified processing plant, that abides by strict food handling standards. Furthermore, each preparation room and equipment are fully cleaned and sanitized prior to any new production. In doing so, we avoid any risk of cross-contamination.
Salmonella / E-coli Testing
Karbur sources their meats from a Federal Processing Plant, which regularly performs salmonella & e-coli tests, in an independent laboratory. This way, we make every effort to ensure that our products are free from pathogens and of optimum quality and freshness.
